Some of you near the town of Universal, Indiana may have been kept awake by emergency sirens.
News 10 checked with the sheriff's department, and they tell us there was never an actual emergency.
The county's E.M.A. director, Mark O'Heir, was notified and determined the problem to be a faulty siren part.
Actions were taken to deactivate the siren until repairs can be completed.
The sheriff's department tells News 10 they were flooded with calls to 9-1-1 starting at around 1:30 Friday morning.
They stress you should "not" tie up 9-1-1 lines for incidences like this.
Instead, you should call regular administration lines if you have questions or concerns.
