East-side crash ties up traffic

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - An accident on Terre Haute’s east side ties up traffic and sends one person to the hospital.

It happened just after 2:00 Tuesday afternoon on US 40 near the entrance of Rose-Hulman’s campus.

We’ve not received word on what caused the crash, but we can tell you it involved a semi and a car.

No life-threatening injuries were reported, however, one person was taken to the hospital.

Traffic was tied up while emergency crews cleaned up the scene.
