TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - As the holiday gets closer, getting our presents out on time is on the minds of many.
FedEx expects to make 280 million shipments worldwide between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
That's more than 13 percent higher than last year.
At any given time in Terre Haute, 18 delivery trucks will be out making their rounds.
These last few days are a busy time for the company, but employees are ready.
"We have a good team here. They work very well together. They give me their input. We work together to try to balance the routes and the areas so that we're successful and we're delivering a good product for our customers," FedEx Station Manager Jason Craig said.
If you need your package to arrive by Christmas, the last day to ship is Saturday. The FedEx store in Terre Haute closes at 3:30 p.m. that day.
