UPDATE: Dead body found in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute Police Department spent early Saturday morning on the scene of a dead body.

News 10 has learned that a deceased male was found at 3rd and College Streets shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the individual did have a gunshot wound, but the investigation has revealed the wound self-inflicted.

The Terre Haute Police Department said they are not investigating the case as a homicide.
