Credit card numbers released

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A security problem mistakenly releases credit card numbers, forcing a local bank to re-issue cards to their customers.
A letter was sent out to First Financial Bank customers explaining the problem.
Visa recently alerted them of a breach in security by a merchant.
The bank then gets a list of the numbers compromised from the credit company.
As a precaution, the bank re-issues cards to anyone affected.
The letter also explains that no person's personal information other than their card number was compromised, and that the bank is not responsible for this security breach.
The bank explained to News 10 that not everyone's cards were compromised in this instance.
If your card number was released in this case, you'll get a letter and a new card from your bank.
