TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Covenant Cooperative Ministry will hold Stone Soup for Terre Haute on Friday, October 26 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 122 S. 10 1/2 Street, Terre Haute.

The ministry will be collecting monetary donations that may be dropped into the soup pot in front of the ministry.

Volunteers will be giving free bags of candy and cold drinks for participants. CCM hopes to raise funds for Thanksgiving Food Baskets and also for CCM's Christmas program, Teen Angels & Little Angel Trees as well as the many programs offered throughout the year.

"The concept of Stone Soup is simple," said Rose Aycock Executive Director and founder of the ministry." If everyone puts a dash of something in the pot there will be more for all", she added.
