Couple arrested in police chase

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A late night police chase ends in two arrests.
Police arrested Brent Gilbert, 33, and Kristina Michaels, 27, Tuesday night on 10 charges.
The Vigo County Sheriff's Department said the chase started at 25th and Seabury in Terre Haute and ended more than an hour later in Blackhawk, Indiana.
Police said the couple were allegedly throwing batteries, and other ingredients to make methamphetamine, out of the car windows during the chase.
Police were able to stop the car by putting stop sticks on the street.
That's when police said the couple got out of the car and tried to run away.
Both face resisting law enforcement charges and multiple meth-related charges.
