Vigo County Commisioners to vote on Smoking Ban

VIGO CO., Ind. (WTHI) - Tuesday, the Vigo County Commissioners will vote on a county-wide smoking ban.

The Vigo Co. ordinance would mirror Terre Haute's ban that is set to go into effect July 1.

If voted in, the biggest change would come to special clubs in the county, such as American Legions, and Posts, who would no longer be able to permit smoking.

The vote will take place at 9:00 a.m. at the Vigo County Annex, at the commissioner's meeting.
