CLINTON, Ind. (WTHI) - The Vermillion-Parke Community Health Center in Clinton, Ind. held an open house Wednesday to show off its expansion.
With that expansion, the center went from six to 19 exam rooms and has tripled in size.
CEO Elizabeth Burrows said the extra room allows the center to serve more patients.
“The additional space for work space, as well as exam rooms, allows us to serve more patients daily, bring in additional providers to the community and meet the community need for primary and behavioral healthcare,” Burrows said.
The $1.4 million expansion was funded in part by a federal grant of more than $300,000.
