TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - In a News 10 follow up, Terre Haute's Code Enforcement wants you to keep your grass under control.

City workers said they're getting complaints of tall grass.

That's making it hard on them to keep up.

The department said its getting nearly 80 calls a day.

Code enforcement said the solution is simple: cut your grass.

"We don't want the city to have to come on your property and cut the grass. We just want you guys to cut the grass, you know. It's the bottom line, to make the city look so much nicer," Code Enforcement Officer Jamie Ennen said.

If Code Enforcement sends you a letter, you have ten days to cut your grass.

Code Enforcement said if they have to cut your grass, legal action comes next.
