Clabber girl celebrates 120 years

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute community landmark celebrates it's 120th birthday today.
Clabber Girl in Terre Haute turned 120-years-old Friday. To commemorate the occasion, the company gave tours of the building throughout the day.
Each guest received a commemorative postcard celebrating the historic event.
The bakeshop also concocted some 1890's food specialties.
Organizers wanted to give the building's birthday a celebration like the one when it opened.
"If you look at the picture of the grand opening of this building, we have it here in the museum, you can see that the entire community is out in force,” Teresa Shaffer of Clabber Girl said. “It was quite an event back then when this building was opened. It's an amazing building of course, it's withstood 120 years."
The bakeshop offered a free collector tin with the purchase of a snack.
