TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Wabash Valley Master Gardeners were out sprucing up parts of the community on the first day of spring.
Members were spotted tidying up flower beds around the entrance of the city of Terre Haute.
The organization's main job is to maintain gardens for the city's Parks Department.
Officials of the group say their services are invaluable to the community.
“Well the entrances to the city are the first things that visitors see so the better impression that we give for the highways coming into town, whether it be someone just passing through or looking for jobs. It's extremely important so the better impression we can give the better,” Larry Agee, from the Wabash Valley Master Gardeners said.
