TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local church hopes to help find kids in the Wabash Valley a loving home.

Temple United Methodist Church paired up with Indiana Heart Gallery this week.

It's to encourage adoption or find a mentor.

The Heart Gallery is a national movement and features images of Indiana children waiting to be adopted.

"A lot of communities today, there's kids out there that don't have one parent or another and that are just looking for somebody to you know, have them listen to them, so hopefully it'll tug at somebody's heart and they'll step up and make a connection," Temple United Methodist Church Mission Team Chairperson Beth Thompson said.

Temple United Methodist Church helped promote the photo exhibit for the first time this year.

They hope to continue working with the Indiana Heart Gallery each year.

If you're interested in adopting, you can call 1-888-25-ADOPT.
