Children's Museum temporarily closing for maintenance

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local museum shuts down for some routine maintenance.
Since opening in 2010, the Terre Haute Children's Museum has had more than 135,000 visitors.
With that many people walking through the facility and enjoying the exhibits, Lynn Hughes, executive director of the Terre Haute Children's Museum, says the building has some wear and tear and needs a thorough cleaning.
The museum is set to reopen on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10 a.m.
