Charges pending in fatal accident

VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. - More details are available after one man was hit and killed by two semitrailers.

Tyler Haase was hit by two different semis on State Road 63 near Clinton. Haase later died.

The truck drivers, Bakary Sidibe and Alan Whitaker took off, claiming not to know they'd hit a human.

The Vermillion County prosecutor said the drivers have not been officially charged.

Thursday police told News 10 that the two were arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal accident, a felony.

However, Vermillion County Prosecutor Nina Alexander said she'll need more paper work to decide if she'll file charges.
