CASA looks for volunteers

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - An opportunity to help local youngsters fight adversity.

CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, is looking for a few good men and women to volunteer their time in helping abused and neglected children that are a part of the foster care system.

You must be at least 21-years-old without a criminal background against children.

Officials will process potential volunteers' applications, run background checks, call references and conduct a volunteer interview.

If chosen, volunteers must complete 30 hours of initial training.
