Clinton, Ind. (WTHI) - Butterflies released to memorialize lost loved ones.
On Monday, 100 butterflies were released at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana as a memorial service to celebrate lost loved ones.
All too often,patients are unable to attend funerals for lost family and friends.
This event allowed everyone to say goodbye and remember to good times in their lives.
"We try to, you know, memorialize this, not just at a sad time, but at a time to celebrate and remember all the good times, the beauty as you might say."
Organizers say they hope to hold quarterly memorial services for families,staff and patients.
