VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - The heavy winds and rain from the storm blowing about Saturday night has done some damage to a building located near a local university campus.

News 10 has confirmed with Vincennes City Police that a building located on the 1800 block of N. 2nd St. near the Vincennes University campus, had a large portion of an awning blown off from the heavy winds and rain from the storm.

The debris fell and damaged a vehicle and part of the building.  It also blocked traffic in the area.

Emergency response crews are at the scene at this time and are working to clean up the mess.

Police reported that no injuries occurred from the accident, and that the building is currently being used for storage.
