TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Wyatt Jones, a local 3rd grade student, started a special project called Hugs for Haiti.
He's collecting new, stuffed animals to send to suffering children in Haiti.
Covenant Cooperative Ministry heard about his project, and has agreed to collect the animals.
One of their ministry partners will ship the toys to Haiti.
Donations can be taken to Covenant Cooperative Ministry at 122 S. 10 1/2 St. in Terre Haute.
