TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute Firefighters celebrated their community roots for the first time in more than 100 years Friday night.
Firefighters welcomed the community to a Firefighters Ball, which started around 6:30 p.m. Friday night in the Ohio Building in downtown Terre Haute.
Organizers hope to make it an annual event.
They say it’s a great way for people to rub shoulders with firefighters and public safety officials.
