Accused stabbing suspect in court

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTH) - A Terre Haute man appeared in court for the first time Monday after a weekend stabbing.

According to police, Isaiah Batson stabbed one person after an altercation on the north side of Terre Haute Friday night.

The victim in the case was taken to an area hospital.

Batson faces two charges of battery, both class "C" felonies.

He'll be back in court on Thursday.

He's being held in the Vigo County jail on $15,000 bond, no ten percent.
