VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind (WTHI) - Local high school students could get the chance to take part in the 2010 elections, even if they are too young to vote.
Vermillion County election officials are looking for four high school students to work the polls in the primary election. Two students will be chosen from both North and South Vermillion High Schools.
The students that are chosen to participate will get an excused day off from school, money and gain experience.
The Vermillion County Republican Party Chairman Tim Yocum says it is an opportunity for students interested in politics to learn more about the process.
