"We are going to use the proceeds from the gift card sales to create a new branding strategy for the downtown, for the district, and a new logo and in addition we will be building a web portal that folks can visit and get information on all of the merchants in the events of downtown," Downtown Terre Haute Inc. Chris Pfaff said.

Many of the gift cards have already sold out, but Downtown Terre Haute officials say more businesses are slated to be added to the list.
