TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - An ironic crash causes traffic problems on Interstate 70 in Vigo County.

Both westbound lanes were closed near Exit 7 Friday morning after a semi-trailer caught fire.

The semi-trailer was reportedly a Wal-Mart truck carrying fire-extinguishers.

There were no injuries with the fire and traffic was blocked completely until crews could clear one lane.

It took about eight hours to open all the lanes.
