One day left to take buyout plan

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - There is one day left for Vigo County employees to apply for the buyout program.
The buyout would pay the county employee the rest of their pay in one lump sum through the end of the year. If the employee has county health insurance their plan will be included through the end of the year too.
Commissioners say so far the buy-out program is a success. Although, they would not give any exact numbers but said they have exceeded the number they thought they would need to help balance the budget.
