Marshall, Ill celebrates 175th birthday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTHI) - Marshall, Illinois celebrated its 175th birthday Friday night.
Cake will be served, topped with ice cream and plenty of live entertainment. Plus, they will be giving out special commemorative ice cream scoops.
"We need to celebrate this to show some of the achievements that Marshall has got," Marshall, Illinois Mayor Ken Smith said.
The celebration kicks off at 7 o'clock central time.
