TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTHI) - Local lawyers are facing a new competition.

On Tuesday, the Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller kicked off a competition against all lawyers and law firms, to see who can raise enough money for the March Against Hunger food drive.

Their goal is to stock more shelves to help the less fortunate than they did last year. Last years competition between 45 law firms across the state totaled more than 76-tons of needed food.

"Attorney's are the ones you can turn to in every community to come and help. And this is an opportunity for attorney's to show that," Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller said.

Donation totals and competition winners will be announced at the end of the month on March 31st.
