VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind (WTHI) - Homemade meth making is back on the rise in the Wabash Valley.

Linda Coleson loves her neighborhood just north of Seelyville, Indiana.

"It is one of the greatest family neighborhoods you would ever want to live in," Coleson said.

Neighborhoods like Linda’s are becoming common to housing homemade meth. Earlier this week officials picked up five people at 3556 Limberlost Lane on meth related charges.

"It makes me sick, it makes me sick," Coleson said.

Officials say homemade meth is on the rise. Officials believe the rise is caused by the recent arrest of 29 crystal meth dealers. Officials say the majority of crystal meth is brought into the U.S. from Mexico. Now, that the supply is short on crystal meth, meth addicts are back to making their own.

"It creates the endangerment for their own environment, but endangerment to everybody else in the community," Vermillion County Sheriff Bob Spence said.
