Goodwill Sale begins today

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Elder Beerman kicked off their Goodwill Sale today.

They offered an extra special deal for Wednesday which was double coupon day. Folks who donated clothing items in the store for Goodwill, got two 20% off coupons per item.

The goal of the program is to stuff a Goodwill truck full with donations. Elder Beerman is doing this to help the community.

They teamed up with Union Hospital and Bemis to expand the program and hopefully get more donations.

"And what they're doing for us, is they have totes. The totes that we place in our store they also place in their employment places. They are for their employees to bring in their donations and then [Bemis and Union are] handing out the coupons to their employees to come down here, and shop as well," Elder Beerman employee Brian Short said.

The Goodwill Sale lasts until March 24th. Any item you donate gets you a coupon for the store.
