TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - News 10 was at the scene of an accident that occurred on 3rd St. in Terre Haute.
The accident happened near the intersection of 3rd and Walnut streets.
We do know a gold colored car was heading north on 3rd St., when the vehicle’s accelerator got stuck, and forced the car to wreck into a pickup truck. This started a chain reaction.
The momentum of the initial impact forced the pickup to wreck into a motorcycle. The momentum of that impact forced the motorcycle to wreck into the Anderson Nichols Law Firm building.
At the time of our crew’s arrival, a woman was stuck in the car and not moving out of safety.
Five people were injured in the accident and taken to local hospitals, but all are being treated for non-life threatening injuries
Traffic will be backed up in the northbound lanes while crews clean up.
