TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute International Airport was slammed with extra air traffic Sunday due to Super Bowl 46.
Fifteen planes flew into the airport for Super Bowl Sunday’s big game.
Planes landed filled with more than forty fans heading to Indianapolis.
All planes landed early Sunday afternoon to make it just in time for kick off.
Planes will fly out of Terre Haute into the early morning hours.
