TERRE HAUTE, Ind, (WTHI) - State officials say it's important to be aware of any travel restrictions in your area.

Indiana's Department of Homeland Security advises all motorists to check the statewide travel advisory map before venturing onto the roadways.

The map describes conditions for travel warnings, watches, and advisories.

It is continually updated with travel advisory information as reported by each county.
