Groundhog day event predicts economy

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The weather was not the talk of this Groundhog Day event.

The annual Groundhog Day Economic Forecast breakfast took place on the Indiana State University campus.

The overall message was that economy would continue what's called a slow slog during it's recovery this year, but Hoosiers can also expect to see some modest growth.

The Groundhog Day Economic Forecast is in its 16th year.
