DUGGER, Ind. (WTHI) - A good samaritan was in the right place at the right time tonight and saved a man's life.

Around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday evening, Brittany Parr was driving on State Road 54 and noticed an object on the surface of Long Lake near Dugger, Indiana.

Upon closer inspection, Brittany realized it was a man and called 911.

When a conservation officer arrived, he found 66 year old Charles Mobley clinging to the side of an overturned boat.

Mobley had been attempting to place a fish in a wire basket when he fell overboard and capsized the boat.

Mobley was rescued and taken to Sullivan Community Hospital where he is recovering from hypothermia.
