Truck driver beaten, robbed of liquor load

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are looking for two men who robbed a truck driver while he was waiting to drop-off his liquor load.

It happened around midnight at the National Wine and Spirit at 700 West Morris Street.

Police say two men in ski masks pulled the 54-year-old driver from his truck at gunpoint. He was beaten and handcuffed.

Authorities say the suspects disconnected the 53 foot, refrigerated trailer and attached it to another tractor before getting away.

The trailer is white with the name "Kreil Kamp" and ID number R-1171 on the back.

Police said the victim is being treated at Methodist Hospital.
