VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana wraps up a series of public hearings on plans for billions of dollars in road construction projects.
A very small group of people turned out to look over the details of the Indiana Transportation Improvement Program in Vincennes.
The state laid out plans for more than $4 billion in roadwork it hopes to do over the next four years. The projects range from major new highways to maintenance work.
Public comments will impact the work.
"We'll now take back any information that's provided for public comments and then incorporate those in the plan," said Cher Goodwin with INDOT. "We'll review to make sure that the purpose and need of the projects are being followed and are a true need for that project."
The public can still look at the Transportation Improvement Plan on the internet and enter comments. Just go to www.indot.in.gov .
