MARSHALL, Ill (WTHI) - Like much of Marshall, Matt Coffman was shocked to hear about the murder of Arnulfo Pacheco.

It's a story that seems too familiar for Matt. Two years ago, his apartment complex was the scene for another death investigation.

"it was actually pretty scary. One of our neighbor ladies is the lady who found him, she was pretty upset for a while I remember," Coffman said.

The body of Leon Remigio-Becerril was found in a dumpster. Police believe he was murdered in another city, and that his body had been left there.

It would be the last time Marshall would see any death investigation until police found Arnulfo Pacheco dead.

It's the second death investigation in two years, but for folks in Marshall, it's two too many.

Maria Pacheco and Jarrod Riley are expected to appear in court Friday.
