Folks living in Illinois can now apply for help paying their summer cooling bills.
The state has set aside $10 million for financial aid.
It will be available to home with senior citizens, young children, or someone in poor health.
Similar help was available in the past, but it was canceled last year when federal funds were cut.
People can apply until July 27 by calling 877-411-9276.

An unsettled pattern will keep isolated t'showers in the forecast through Tuesday evening.
