Fire engulfs plant in Newton, IL

NEWTON, ILL (WTHI) - A fire breaks out at a plant in Jasper County, Illinois Monday night. The fire took place at the Evapco plant in Newton.

Police are releasing little information at this time.

Viewers report to News 10 that the fire is due to an explosion.

No word on the official cause of the fire or if anyone was injured.
