Edgar Co.: Road closed for construction

EDGAR CO., Ill. (WTHI) - The Edgar County Highway Department in Illinois announced that in addition to the roadway closure of Clarksville St. near the New Goshen Cemetery, there will be a closure of the structure located 1/2 mile south of Grandview on Clarksville St.

There new closure will occur Monday, July 23.

The structure will be closed for replacement until its completion, which is anticipated to be the beginning of September 2012.

Clarksville St. is currently closed to through traffic south of 400th Rd. for roadway construction.

The roadway closure will now be extended to just south of Grandview.

400th Rd. will remain open at all times.
