SHILOH, Ill. (AP) — Authorities are hoping lab tests help determine what killed a Belleville teenager found unresponsive at the southwestern Illinois home of a former congressman's daughter.

The Belleville News-Democrat (http://bit.ly/102ccyc) reports that Shiloh police dispatched Sunday to the home of Gina Costello found 15-year-old Patrick Fiore unconscious. He died the next day at a St. Louis hospital.

Costello's father is Jerry Costello, who is newly retired from Illinois' 12th Congressional District after serving more than 20 years.

Police Chief Jim Stover says the preliminary cause of death is believed to be Fiore's seizure disorder.

Stover says Fiore and roughly a half dozen other athletes at Belleville's Althoff Catholic High School were at Gina Costello's home at the time Fiore fell ill.

Gina Costello doesn't have a listed home telephone number.
