WILMINGTON, Ill. (AP) — Wilmington High School held an all-school memorial after for four students who died when their car skidded off a bridge into an icy creek.

The memorial was Wednesday at the school in northern Illinois. The Herald-News in Joliet reports (http://bit.ly/WnT2E7) there were counselors available in the school library and four candles were lit for the victims. The two boys and two girls were found in the car early Tuesday.

The coroner identified the victims as 14-year-old Matthew Bailey, 15-year-old Cody Carter, 17-year-old Cheyenne Fender and 15-year-old Micalah Sembach. They all were from Wilmington.

Teenagers also visited the crash site, where white crosses were covered with messages. On Tuesday night residents packed a prayer service.

Authorities say the driver likely lost control after hitting a patch of water or ice.
