Chicago man, 51, facing child pornography charges

CHICAGO (AP) — Cook County prosecutors say a 51-year-old Chicago man has been arrested on child pornography charges after images were found on his home computers.

State's Attorney Anita Alvarez's office says Seamus (SHAY'-muhs) Webb was arrested Thursday, five days after authorities executed a search warrant at his home and seized four computers. Webb appeared in bond court on Friday on charges of possession and dissemination of child pornography. A judge set bond at $100,000.

Prosecutors say forensic analysis of Webb's computers revealed numerous images and videos depicting children engaging in a variety of sex acts. They say analysis of his email account revealed that he had sent many of the images and videos between January 2012 and March 2012.
