TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Construction workers aren't the only people facing danger on the roadway.

Indiana State University is worried about their student's safety crossing streets in Terre Haute.

With high enrollment and the university expanding south of Cherry Street, foot traffic has increased around town.

In addition, many students are parking in remote lots away from campus and then walking to the university.

While it's important for drivers to pay attention, it's equally important for students.
