VIGO COUNTY, Ind (WTHI) - After a summer of quiet, a college campus in western Vigo County is full of activity.
Students began moving back into the residence halls Thursday at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Faculty and staff members including President Dottie King were on hand to welcome students back and helped them get settled in. King says moving to school can be a major milestone for young women.
"It's a life-changing day for them because they forge lifelong friendships here and a connection to this college." said King.
Students will take part in orientation activities through the weekend.
The first day for classes on the campus is Tuesday August 28th.
