State sees uptick in ISTEP scores

TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTHI) - State education officials release ISTEP+ results for 2012 and the Vigo County School Corporation received high marks.

Tuesday morning scores were released showing the Vigo County School Corporation had a higher overall passing rate of 71.6 percent over the state average of 71 percent. The corporation also tested above average in English and Science. The ISTEP+ specifically look at grades three through eight.

State officials then use this information determine how to implement new education plans.
