Rose brings new staffing

TERRE HAUTE, IND. (WTHI) - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is welcoming new staffing to their family this year.

Recently appointed Grace M. Findley will be Director of Major Gifts. Alan P. Morrison will be special projects gift officer in the Office of Institutional Advancement.

“Grace and Alan will help us implement new initiatives and sustain past department strategies to identify donor prospects and assist current donors,” said Rickey N. McCurry, Rose-Hulman’s Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “We welcome their energy and enthusiasm to our institutional advancement team.”

Findley will help create, maintain and grow philanthropic relationships to fund operations, scholarships and other initiatives to support annual and long-term strategic goals.

Before coming to Rose-Hulman, Findley most recently served as development director at Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health. Findley is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Association of Fundraising Professionals, World Affairs Council and Rotary International.

Alan Morrison will implement annual and major gift fundraising strategies related to special projects. He will also initiate donor cultivation activities that strengthen donor relationships, and manage activities to achieve department goals. A member of the Rose-Hulman staff since 2001, Morrison previously served as Assistant Director for Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities, and Intramural Director.

Morrison also currently serves as staff representative to the Board of Trustees, and has been a member of the employee relations, student affairs, campus wellness and Ombudsman committees. He is vice chair of the House of Representatives’ Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, and is serving on the Natural Resources, Utilities and Energy Committee
