TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Some Wabash Valley 4th Graders got to see a book come to life.
Regional Hospital showed off two horses in hopes to improve literacy Thursday morning.
While promoting reading, this adventure helps set the scene of the book "The Black Stallion.”
The group hopes to bring students imaginations to life when they meet the horses.
Thursday marked the third time the group has done the presentation.
Those at the hospital hope the experience is lasts a lifetime.
"So what we'll do is hopefully help them gain an interest in reading. And we know from their the skies the limit," Bruce Adamson, Director of Radiology at Regional Hospital, said.
The hospital teamed up with the Half Arabian Association to bring the horses to the event.
