PARIS, Ill. (WTHI) - High school students and faculty in Paris, Illinois will soon have a new day-time home.
School leaders Friday afternoon broke ground on donated land for the construction of a new high school building.
The City of Paris donated the land to the school corporation for the new building.
The project is expected to cost $40 million.
The new school will bring students from all over Edgar County, Illinois.
City leaders say it’s nice way to give back to the community.
