Illinois giving statewide school survey

Illinois is looking to improve it's school system, and they're asking for your help.
     
Starting February 1st, all students, teachers, and parents have the opportunity to take an online questionnaire.
     
It's called the '5Essentials' survey.
     
It targets areas of leadership, teachers, families, environment, and instruction.
     
The purpose is to identify strengths and weaknesses of each school.
     
Officials expect over one million people to complete the survey.
     
It's active until March 31st.
